LCC Climb to #16 ranking in the MRDA

We’re very excited to announce the Lane County Concussion have climbed to #16 in the Men’s Roller Derby Association (MRDA) June 2019 rankings. LCC’s strong showing in the 2019 competitive season have jumped them 12 ranking spots, the most of any team during this period.

LCC started the 2019 season in March with a win over the Puget Sound Outcasts at home in Springfield at the Bob Keefer Center for Sports and Recreation. April brought another hard-fought battle at home against their brothers from up Interstate 5, Bridgetown Menace. They managed a very respectable 213-108 loss against the #2 ranked team in the MRDA in what’s become an annual Oregon men’s roller derby classic.

In May, LCC participated in The Big O in Eugene as they usually do, a tournament they perennially volunteer to help put on. This year, they took on a larger role and are proud call themselves co-hosts of the greatest roller derby tournament in the world. They went 3-0 at the home tourney with wins over Puget Sound, Chinook’s Glenmore Reservoir Dogs, and the Philadelphia Hooligans.
